We really treaded new ground for ourselves with this video, as it is completely different from what we've done with music videos before. Not only is it set to the only somber ballad of the album, but filming indoors in a film studio was a new experience for us. May you all enjoy this tragic tale as much as we enjoyed filming and playing it!

The lyrics tell about Tor fighting the gigantic Midgard serpent, Jörmungandr, living in the ocean and encircling our world. The video recording was as dramatic as the video captures it. We brought ourselves and the instruments in the middle of nowhere and played some metal music. Good times!

This single is probably as close to power metal as we will get, but make no mistake, this is Grimner through and through. We felt that the tone of this song perfectly conveys the feelings that the ancient warriors may have hoped for as they soared with the valkyries toward the giant gates of Valhall.

We had a very good time recording the music video in the beautiful longhouse of Ale Vikingagård in Sweden, which added an authentic atmosphere. We gathered a lot of vikings and a few monks at the scene to illustrate what the lyrics are all about.
